My career actually started in a very different industry. I trained as a graphic designer, driven by a lifelong love for logo design and visual perfection. However, after becoming disillusioned with the corporate design world, I realised I wanted something more. I wanted the freedom of working for myself, being outdoors, and building something from the ground up. The meticulous eye for detail and visual balance I developed as a graphic designer now goes into ensuring every window, gutter, and wall we treat looks absolutely flawless.
Building from Scratch
I've brought I was lucky enough to have the ultimate mentor: my Dad. Having run successful cleaning companies himself, he had the exact know-how and experience I needed to get started. In 2013, we bought a van and started with absolutely zero customers. We hit the streets, canvassing door-to-door, and slowly built a reputation the old-fashioned way—through relentless hard work and an obsessive attention to detail.

My Dad instilled a work ethic in me that still drives Bay View Cleaning today. He taught me the absolute importance of dotting the i's and crossing the t's. His favourite saying is, "You're only as good as your last clean." That single piece of advice is why I still treat every single job, whether it's a small terraced house or a massive commercial project, with the exact same high standards.
